I won't even bother to check it out, but I'm sure they're completely levelhead there and not making irrational comparisons to decades past Fascist regimes and ideologies.

On a sidenote, I've been browsing metal Twitter randomly and I'm astounded by the amount of pussery and faggotry within the scene, especially BM. So many fucking hipsters and an increasing amount of trannies, femboys and others in the scene. Now I know posers were a thing before I was swimming in my dads ballsacks, but metal, especially BM is like the most problematic genre out there. How can these people take themselves seriously? I hate this TikTok generation that only takes the visual components of older subcultures (punk, emo, metal etc.) just to create this soulless, corporatized hybrid style which they then sell to other fake depressed teens on (((meds))).

Yeah, it's Twitter after all. I don't have an account, but I lurk occasionally and just stumbled on to a thread on metal. Like I've said here before, the scene itself may not be as cancerous IRL as in TikTok or Twitter. Sure the big festivals have them, but I don't think you'll see 'UwU black metal fembois' or trannies at a Horna or Inquisition show.

Deafheaven is responsible for a lot of it, but it isn't just them. I remember talking with a friend about "hipster metal" back in the 00s, because the same indie rock-loving fruitcakes we nowadays call soyboys and bugmen also seemed to like Wolves in the Throne Room or post-metal stuff like Isis or whoever. Somehow this was "acceptable" metal to like in those circles compared to shit only acceptable to enjoy ironically like all the classic 70s/80s stuff. All Deafheaven did was bring in more of them to black metal (since post-metal stuff was getting played out at that point) right around the same time everything started getting hyper-politicized leading to today's cancer.

They're whining about the trucker protest because they're establishment shills and the establishment has decreed the trucker protest wrongthink. It's typical politisperging for these people.

Most metalheads have nothing to do with twitter, or social media in general. These are just hipsters on the latest trend. Metal had its issue with hipsters in the early 2000s when they came in with their strange ideas. Its why we saw a huge increase in showgaze style metal genres (mostly black, but general "post-metal" gets it as well). Its blokes with beards, IPAs they love to talk about, and wives they are all too eager to share. Quite funny seeing metalheads trying to react to cucks showing up, most were just puzzled. I know I was, first time someone wanted me to fuck their wife, I thought it was some sort of illegal divorce ploy, not a strange kink. Either way, everything is touched with hipsters, they have a huge presence on socialmedia/media in general, and plenty of cash on the hip to throw at some 4 piece who make songs about trannies being oppressed with strong Deftones vibes. Shame as well, as I kinda like some "post metal", cult of luna are awesome, real strong doomy vibe but thankfully without the weed nonsense.

Damn, it's almost as if people feel more warmly towards neighbouring people who share your language, history and culture than people thousands of miles away in the desert. It's almost as if people are more concerned about war when it's happening literally next door. But that's just me... now if you'll excuse me I'll go and consoom some Viking metal and Amazon LOTR series while complaining about alt-right chuds using ancient European imagery for their own selfish ends.
