Depends on the type of apocalypse. I’m a city boy, so I’d undoubtedly be one of the first to go down in most scenarios. If it’s nuclear war, I’d aim to be at the epicenter. I’ve seen Threads.
 
Group up with my neighbours who are all old bikers and go barricade the nearby high school (it's built like a fortress) because there's plenty of living space for further expansion, farming areas, huge gates, fences, workshops and probably some javelins or something I could use as a weapon idk.
 
I'd argue society has been collapsing the the 2008 recession in terms of ecconomics, and since 2013 in terms of social norms and general common sense. While I don't expect a total collapse unless WWIII breaks out, a string of massive natural disasters ruin cities beyond repair or a space object causes another ice age. With the way things are right now, I can only expect our cultural beliefs and monetary woes to get worse before it gets better (if they get better, that is).
 
As the asteroid barrels down, looming ever larger in the sky, it's time for the lounge chairs in the front yard, a few liters of Wild Turkey, some quality joints and a bunch of cookies. Hold hands with the old lady and sing Petty's song: They can put me up at the gates of hell, I'll stand my ground and won't back down......
 
My neighbor wants to go to a mine and snipe out people who come near the top of his place. Idk if it sounds dumb, but it sounds like nothing against some redneck with a grenade launcher or a tank.

My plan? Oh, I didn't really have one. I live in a huge artic wasteland anyways, most people already have a plan.. but if I was fucked, with that in mind, I'd probably find an old lever action moose type rifle from this old guy who lives there half the year, get my leather jacket, let my cats free, my fatass and my kitten probably wouldn't leave me, grab my Millitary coat, and hope some random neutral faction came out of the dust. I don't got a plan, we're talking about Nuclear apocalypse, come on. Oh, and food?
