How to get into work at home online jobs

That's the case for most govt oriented jobs, apparently. Sucks but at least it gives me a good footing to begin with.

Oh honey, the AF gonna learn you in petty as fuck if you do it.

I've been looking hard recently and there's nothing I'm immediately qualified for with online work. Sucks. I think I'm just going to persevere with my plan for joining the air force or army so they can pay for the rest of my degree and give me a better starting wage + benefits while still a student.
I'm not an army shill by any means, but they actually let you pick your specific job, so if there's a specific job you're after, then that's probably the route you should take. And if you think you're going to get them to pay for your degree while you're active, look into how tuition assistance works for both army and air force. Ask any active or vet friends if they have pointers. Reality is often not what the recruiters tell you and everything has 5 * tied to it.

Yeah there's a specific role I want that gives me experience in my major. Defence force sectors don't mind contributing to tertiary study if it benefits your work for them which my degree would. Plus I've wanted to be in at least the reserves for a while now so makes sense for me to have a go at it. Just gotta get fit enough for entry lol.

"Defence force sectors"? This sounds like scifi term.
Don't join expecting anything to be paid for without knowing exactly how that program works, which is easier now than ever before since you can look it up and find people talking about it. Reddit would be a good resource on that if you can't find official word on your own.
Reserves benefits are totally different from active duty as well, so don't get any of that confused. Same with guard.

I said sectors because I'm not sure if I want to be Army or Air Force yet. I can't do full service for a while yet but I can do reserves training over summer in preparation.

Disheveled Human, as someone already mentioned, there are plenty of options how you can earn money online, but if we talk about some practical examples, I can say for sure that if you're a linguist, or know at least one more language except English, you can try yourself at online tutoring jobs on Preply web resource. You can look at their vacancies, actually not only translation-based. My brother-in-law provides online lessons there, teaching kids Spanish language, and he says it's well-paid job.
