Just keep licking away faggot.

Dumping an account with just 24 posts is no big deal.

That's up to the Admin in a Xenforo forum, and how he has configured those settings at this point in time, so you can ask him directly.

Gabe Hoffman blocked me on twitter so I can't ask him, and really, why is everything on this site so obtuse?

Why does it not tell new users that there is a new user post moderation?

Not sure I understood, but Xenforo like other forums works with groups and group permissions.

He technically can assign any user to any custom group he wants or creates, and who is within that group can be set manually, or automatically with a "promotion". I don't think this is visible by default, but he would have to make "user group permissions" visible, in order for someone to see if they can or cannot change their PFP.

So it's all made up rules that he can change whenever he wants, and this is not public by default because why would it.

apologies my brain is dead, what I mean is not that Josh doesn't show up the xenforo manual, I mean he doesn't have a forum guide that explains how any of this works or what is possible and what isn't possible, and why certain things happen, it's all a mystery that creates a lot of annoyance.

Why do you know so much about xenforo? Can we make a forum together?

I think he likes having certain things as a secret or obscure, like for example, do you know what one has to do to earn the trophy "Klurfslayer" in this site?

I don't either. The rest is Xenforo stuff like the one I mentioned, or bugs that he tries to fix.

I have tried Xenforo just to see how it was, and by the way, you can easily too with their free demo, if you want to see the default options available (not KF obviously, which has plug-ins and custom shit). Also thanks for the offer! :waifu:But I don't have the intention of creating or moderating any website in the foreseeable future.

I have no idea what a klurf even is. But then all of those trophies you show there are confusing as to what they are for.

What I mean is that you create a new account and then you find your posts aren't seen until some mod approves them, for a random amount of time, but if you don't guess this is happening then you may think the site is bugged and stop using it as why would your posts would be hidden by default when it doesn't tell you this in any way or form.

I have no idea how to use xenforo, does it run on windows or linux? I'm too dumb to do that stuff. But hey if you ever want to do a creative project together I'd love to do that. Running a forum would be the strategy that would be the most painful but it is needed to give European stock a place to speak.

Yeah, that's just researching into how to run a website and what Xenforo allows, you can look up in their support forum if you're ever interested in running one for real. As I said though, I am not planning to for the time being.

The demo though can be just tested in the browser, they'll give you a temp forum to mess around with.

I assume he does that with new accounts to prevent spammers nowadays, I have not checked what happens afterwards or if there's an option to alert the users, maybe he doesn't care.

By the way, did you know there is a trolling feature of users the site allows (or allowed, I'm not checking now), I don't think Null uses it though.

There is no way that new users are alerted that you can't see their posts.

What would be so wrong to tell you when you make an account that it is a thing? How would it help spammers to know that?

I bet you 10 trillion dollars that josh set that trolling feature on for me, as the site always crashes, my posts don't go through, i don't get notifications, i have so many weird issues that happen on this site lately
