I’m guessing all of us get sick of social media once in a while and take an insta or Snapchat/Facebook break. That’s ok and normal, only we aren’t declaring it our jobs.
We go to work every day and get our two weeks off or whatever. We aren’t working when we feel like. (And if so, they hiring?)
So is it a job, Amber, or just a time killer? You have to pick. Since she needs it for money, she’s now figuring out how little she can do but keep enough cash rolling in. Hence placeholder Becky and her boring ass stories.
We know it’s because of thd bed bound saga but if she can take yesterday’s makeup off on camera, she can film from bed. She can’t really get more dull.
I’m ok with her taking a break. But she either needs to announce she’s taking a month off and will be back by Dec 1, refreshed, with videos ...or keep making them. This half-assed stuff is losing viewers.
Like @Dog Prom 3D mentioned, even if she gets on track, her body is wrecked. I saw a 600 lb Life “where are they now” where a 700 lb woman got down to a ‘normal” weight of 170 lbs. and her husband didn’t run, which was rare. But did she look normal? No. Even after the skin surgery was completely done, she was nearly deformed. Her back was hunched. She had to have knee replacements. Even though her thighs and legs didn’t touch anymore, she still had the fat waddle and it looked like she’d been riding a horse her whole life because the bones were misshapen from the years of fat. It hurt of course and she didn’t look normal. She will never look like a normal woman-she looked like a 70 year old in bad shape, even though she was much younger. And, she will always have to eat small amounts to stay there.
It’s still better that 700 lbs. she’s got a man, a job (after ten years of not working) she can shower and bathe-bathe in the tub, go anywhere she wants. Even lie on the beach in bora bora. She has ease, which Amber doesn’t. No, she’ll never look normal but being deformed is a good tradeoff for freedom.

We all know Amber's never going to be a normal weight, or even slightly chunky like Eric/Rickie, but even getting down to 300 would massively improve her quality of life. Most of those 600 lb Life people wind up still being obese, just manageably obese.

I don't know about you guys, but I like watching vlogs of people who have interesting skills and talents. Like artists, seamstresses, etc. It's cool to see people progressing on a project or learning from their experience. Hell, even people who collect and unbox things can be neat. This is AL's issue as she has zero skills and does nothing remotely interesting especially since it's obvious her movement has become extremely limited this past year due to her insane weight gain. She's giving her viewers absolute garbage content yet still gets angry at them for getting on her case for it.

I enjoy this too, and I agree. It's a shame AL doesn't have any real interests or curiosity to learn because she already has a built-in audience for anything she might try or do. Even the most obscure hobby would be infinitely more interesting to watch than her feigned excitement at another Torrid haul. Seems like such a shallow, joyless existence.

I think her viewers will take anything at this point... She could choose a recipe and follow it (instead of cooking her homemade slop) or hell even a simple-as-hell craft like diamond painting (people film themselves doing one, then speed it up and put music on it). You know it's bad when even her limited amount of ass-patters are sick of her "content".

Even her supporters didn't like that vid, but in retrospect it was one of the more noteworthy videos in the doldrum we've had during her post-Destiny bloating period. I'd rather discuss a vid like that then another haul video of undersized muumuus or, God forbid, a Becky storytime.

It's one thing to be self depreciating and make jokes at your own expense but to take something that has made you the centre of hate/attention and flip it is just WTF levels of poor taste.
It's like if DSP showed up dressed as a beggar for his Halloween streams and every hour he brings out a tin and rattles it in an attempt to shake up his detractors.
