The aforementioned musicians have a gay audience, and occasionally sing about gay themes, but their music isn't inherently gay.

Basically, some coomer of an chink posted an thread about complaining on how troon hormones makes boys look younger than they look. What really weird is that he used also posted some girls in swimwear and suggestively posing to illustrate his point.

We were all horrified and started roasting him over this. He doubled down and said that this shit is normal for China, so the debate just went onto something that's slightly less retarded that ended with him "accidentally" deleting the thread and 0 0 permanently banning him. Apparently, the thread has been permanently deleted, butwe still hate him

Really don’t hate the gays. Actually gays and lesbians don’t bother me. But faggots, queers, and trannies are what I can’t stomach. If you make your sexual and “gender” identity all about you, then fuck right off.
 
Over the years I've gone from neutral/mildly grossed out by them to disdainful/disgusted by them. This is entirely based on real world experiences interacting with gay people. The disgusting shit I see in the news pretty regularly just kind of makes it worse.

Most of Pet Shop Boys' gay songs, which aren't actually a lot to begin with, are so vague on purpose that they might be interpret in whatever way a listener would want minus just a couple. After all, the only unique part of homosexual life experience is homosexuality itself; everything else is relatable to overwhelming majority of population. At some point it even got completely backwards, Rent is thought to be a gay song when it's about a female prostitute.

My honest immediate reaction truly was "straight women", not "gay men", to the question on determining sexuality of a listener that I was preparing to give an answer to before I even clicked the link. I'm not sure if it's an actual fact or statistic, but while yes, gay musicians like that usually have a small gay audience, I'm noticing a drastically different pattern when it comes to taste in music.

Actual gay men barely listen to this stuff. Their playlists usually fall under two drastically opposing categories. One being the most bimboficated, male-gazing depiction of female heterosexuality, think Charli XCX, Britney Spears, Megan Thee Stallion, Nicki Minaj, and so on. Those are what you'd hear in gay bars pretty much all of the time. General rule of thumb, the more artificial femininity is performed by the female music artist, the greater is the chance that it's played and danced to by gays in the club. This also overlaps with drag culture.

By the way, this is where pooners who identify as gay men fail miserably. They reject artificial femininity like any sane self-respecting woman would do, but instead they make a conclusion that it makes them "men" and if they're attracted to men, that makes them gay men. In reality, gay men are really drawn to extreme artificial femininity the most, apart from mentally unwell women, and it's getting reflected in our culture in many ways, gay male fashion designers for example (who also often pick XY intersex women or just generally unnatural, malnourished, malformed natal females for their designs), and, well, yeah, drag shows and arguably these bimboficated women in media that are disassociated from their own humanity and presented as objects, dolls, walking sex holes, and so on. While yes, a lot of women try to emulate these women and vibe with the music, and I won't necessarily say that no straight man watches these music videos (why wouldn't they, it's basically free porn), gay men as a whole very strongly resonate with both the music and visuals.

Second type of playlists being, which is less common than the former and is usually popular among specific subcultures like roided bears and leather daddies, along with coping closeted homosexuals who overperform masculinity to appear straight is, well...

You'd see Paul Lekakis posters in some women's bedroom back in the day, the dude is literally a stereotypical ideal man for a young female in 1980s. In the 90s, Savage Garden was massively bursting ovaries all over the globe, and the lead singer is gay too. I'm not even entirely sure if actual gay men listen to these artists, a lot of them usually cringe at this type of music (music that tends to be rather sensual, as opposed to explicitly dirty and pornographic female artists I mentioned above), it truly is mostly women loving this stuff.

This reminds me, @YWNBAM recently made a great post in man-hate thread on a similar topic, if I could, I would give it even more awards.
 
After the troon boom I don't believe gay is actually a thing anymore. It's a larp for degenerates and losers. The men were molested during puberty and hate women, take steroids and shit that make them horny, and having sex with other weird men takes literally zero effort. The women are either so awful and lonely that they pretend they aren't just living with a roommate to look like they aren't alone, or have hormone issues that make them sexually ridiculous. Some of both groups were molested as children and are using the Pantsu method of repeating these crimes against themselves as a cope. The solution is literally stop watching porn and pretending that an ACTION (gay sex) is an identity. It's a lifestyle the same way being a furry is.
