I've always thought the FDA should have defined the term "Milk" in such a way as to exclude this stuff. All it is is nuts soaked in water to leech some of the water soluble material in them. Some of the materials in the nuts form micelles, just like what happens in milk, to give it a somewhat similar appearance. Compared to real milk it has very little nutritional value without stuff being added into it.
