Debating whether Chris lied about any particular incidents in his life isn't actually new since way back then (9 years ago, man that was way long ago) Chris claimed to lose his virginity with a hooker and at the time the community was in flames and debating whether Chris is lying or not.

The most convicting part of this is how uncreative it would be for a creative person like Chris to tell the same lie twice. Then again under pressure it would be easy to tell the old story again, instead of inventing new stuff. Chris has been pretty consistent in his stories about CWCville, so narrative consistency isn't beyond him.

Based on his christory we know that Chris is a pathological liar and not to be trusted. Typically people lie to gain status, to remove pressure from them and to hide the true reality. Chris is well known for believing his lies and acting as they are real. When an autist like Chris is put in an uncomfortable situation like an interview, they are known to hide their true selves by lying or staying silent.

While many people wouldn't tell a lie that makes them look worse, Chris is an atypical individual and comes up with ridiculous solutions for mundane problems.
