How do I visit my local church?

I'm incredibly nervous about attending mass at one of my local churches. I'm very bad with meeting new people, and I'm stressed that I'll be judged or do something wrong.
I also checked out jw.org, and it's a great site but I don't understand the stuff about the year 1914, or if it's true when they say that God and Jesus are not one in the same. I also do
not exactly know which church I should visit, and am worried I'll be judged by Ukranians if I visit their church in my community.

Sit at the back.
Have some cash for the collection plate - you pay for your entertainment.
Stand, kneel and bow your head when everyone else does.
If it's some hippy church with singing, don't try to sing.

It also depends on the Denomination but in some Southern Baptist churches, members will whoop and holler if certain songs are played (slight PL)...and the last time the Pastor went "I don't want anyone quiet in my church!!"
