How do I tell if magic mushrooms have gone bad? - Do they even go bad?

They were dehydrated in a ziplock bag in a wooden drawer for god knows how long.
Gave it the sniff test and it's a tad sour but not pungent at all,
Eat or no?

Don't put anything in your mouth you don't trust. If you still feel shaky about them (not as in they'll do nothing but health concerns) save yourself the panic and take the loss. Better to be down a pack of shrooms than to be nervous about what you ate.
