Seeing that you joined 2 days ago, I think that you're most likely just not allowed to change your subtitle yet. The same was true for me when I initially joined, I think you have to post a little bit more + wait a little longer (probably around a week or so) to get the ability to edit it.

@Brme you need to reach certain account milestones before you are able to access some features.
I think when you make 100 posts you can do that, when it is available you can find it in :
Account details > custom title

Wasn't the case for me, it unlocked for me out of nowhere when I was sitting around 30-40 posts. I think it may be related to reaction score OR to join dates. Maybe both but I don't think so.

Just because I just looked at it, I don't know exactly how it's in Kiwifarms, but these are the Xenforo's default criteria for having a user group promotion (allowing you to do extra stuff).

I assume it's based on reaction score.

By the way, there's more criteria (like having an avatar or not, browsing in a specific language, etc), this is just related to users' posts/achievements.

I had the same problem. You need to go to the talk to staff board and start a thread requesting that feature be unlocked. You also need to post dick pics to verify you're a real person and not a bot.

This work's best if you threaten the staff violently with claims of a coordinated attack aimed directly at the staff's closest family members and you have to make it believable or else they will laugh you off and you wont be able to change your title to "hitler's greatest minion"
