How do big truck owners afford those upgrades? - ...and fart coal?

I drive a fuel efficient vehicle because it makes sense to me to jealously guard my wallet against ever rising costs for fuel and maintenance. During the summer months there is always some ginormous truck with HUEG wheels and shocks that tend to go around me and fart diesel exhast.

I am self employed, but I don't make nearly the earnings it would take for me to afford to do something similar. Do you know anyone who owns these trucks and how do you justify damaging your own engine to blow that kind of exhaust? Are you a mechanic? Do you have a magic wizard that just pulls parts out of their ass chained up in your backyard along with all the other animals? Please enlighten us.

Or they could be blue collar workers who own their own business and use these truck for their work and decided to invest a bit into it, not everyone who owns one is financially illiterate.
