Obama was the FDR of the 21st century, destroyed race relations, destroyed the military, ran guns for narcos, made the lunches suck. I hate him

Obama did the most irreparable damage to the country since Nixon with his Obamacare bullshit. You want to know why healthcare nowadays is so fucked up? It's 1000% the fault of Obamacare. The insurance companies malded for 50 years how they couldn't get 20 year olds to buy health insurance. So they went through Obama to force them to do it by doubling the amount they charged their parents. Health insurance USED to be cheap and affordable for young people. Now it's an arm and a fucking leg.

Obamacare has literally stolen thousands of dollars from every KiwiFarms users paychecks either directly through the overpriced bullshit no coverage it offers or indirectly by creating a new baseline that jacked up everyone's insurance rates.

Anyone who says Obama was a good President is a fucking retard and you should treat them as such.

Fucking retard.

It was terrible.

Half to the reason life is unaffordable now are from trends Obama started and things Obama did.

Retarded.

It wasn't, but Obama's policies did start the train of creating devastating poverty.
I remember it. It was still better than the last ten years. You don't need to tell me because I was old enough to remember. It was still better. Even with the crap.

I couldn't stand Obama in his presidency, but if I had to choose the better president, him or Trump, I would say Obama. Lol, Trump is a shitty president.

Última edición:
them school lunches went from bad to still bad thats for sure
I’m not entirely sure about that. I remember the school lunches sucked at first when Michael dug his troon fingers into them, but I also remember having some lunches in middle school and high school that bent absolute fire. Fiestada pizza, pepperoni calzones, double cheeseburgers, and I’ll never forget those buffalo chicken sandwiches that made my tastebuds have Vietnam flashbacks with how spicy they were.

This is a very long winded post so be warned.

I think the changes started in the bush era then when the economy got bad after 2008 thats when everyone took on a second job to make ends meet. A lot of churchs, community clubs, and familes really and truly broke apart between 2000-2020. Growing up in the 1990s and early 2000s i remember going to church almost every sunday. I remember family dinners together being the absolute norm and even praying at the table being the same until about the mid 2000s.
Second the Obama era promised to talk about the issues and instead blamed it solely on white surpremacy and Christianity.
Lastly I think blue pilled propaganda worked well because during his time a lot of people were able to do fine as they were able to afford things while profiting off the corruption.
Again look at the Simpsons in the bush era they're still going to church fairly regularly post that era only Flanders seems to support the church.
You have to understand this you're a millenial you're born in the 1980s/early 1990s you remember Clinton being mostly good and stability even Dubya wasnt that bad til 9/11. Then over the decade it seemed like every instution publicly failed america badly from Katrina to Iraq it was a decade of unraveling trust in our intuitions. Then obama comes along and promises to fix things and he promotes left wing people who say things like "we need to move beyond the bitter clingers sticking to their guns and bibles". After all if you grew up on alt music making fun of neocons if you grew up watching the Simpsons or any media for that matter in the last era of media monoculture from TV chances are you got your news from Jon Stewart felt intelligent because he was owning the cons.
Richard Dawkins validated your teenage atheism because he simply called religious people silly fools.
Most media figures in TV were towing the kine about how feminism is good and masculine men acting like pigs is bad.
You probably had a feminist teacher who grew up reading radical feminist literature bit had kids with a beta man.
Again realistically as a millenial if you're not a left wing homo you must be a flawed individual. If you voted for trump or right wingers its an unwritten millenial code that you're secretly a nazi because you want to return us to the oppressive normality of our childhoods.
The Obama Era really just cemented in the Idea the right is dumb, backwards and evil into the mind of most liberals, progressives, and leftists. This also cemented that they should have their voting rights diminished because they will consistently make the wrong choices and not vote for our brand of leftism.

All in all the obama era in many ways were the last glimpses of normality before private equity and covid destroyed everything.

i remember it being a slow burn of endless bullshit and general shittifying of everything, not like the rapid fire of bullshit we've had the past six years
The one hope was post obama things would change for the better and unfortunately they just got worse.
