turns out I had made a bigger payment on my credit card then I thought and it just posted so I do have enough to get through until next pay day after all which is appreciated, that payday covers rent so I’ll still be eating very cheaply until the next one after that, Ozempic is now much cheaper here because the generics are out and I’m figuring I could probably use it to reduce my food budget enough to cover the cost of ozempic.

I got the new tire on my car today, using money given to me by my dad for that purpose so although the amount is a little stressful the money was specifically set aside for it. I’m also getting some past overdue maintenance on the cvt transmission done which is the thing that basically sucked up the extra paycheck I had this month. Then first thing next month I’m on a long road trip to go see family I haven’t seen in some time, I’m worried I’m going to remember too late why I haven’t seen them in a long time.

Telling us it was something obvious is just going to ramp up our curiosity and make us start throwing out all sorts of scams to see which one you’ll say is the right one, but fair enough. The bankruptcy trustee will walk you through demolishing and rebuilding your financial life. It does suck but it’s liberating at the same time. If you have an expensive car loan you can choose to keep the car and keep paying for it or the trustee will help you give it up, though being without wheels does suck ass. I think you can get a new car loan while in bankruptcy but the rules might be different where you are and you will NOT get a good interest rate so you could end up paying more for a cheaper car.

it FINALLY stormed here...like a nice thunderstorm with lots of rain and lightening...this house really needs central AC, but we have made do without for so long...i cant wait to move next year.
the worst part of day is afternoon, because cooking dinner with the sun beaming through this huge bank of windows directly behind the stove is just miserable. i also nearly always have the oven going too, for bread to go with dinner, and it just makes me want to start eating fast food or something every night.
that said, the sun is good for the flowers i have in my windows...every summer i buy a bunch of geraniums and put them in the kitchen to pretty things up a bit, and they get huge towards mid/end of summer.

As long as your clothes are tidy and you speak calmly and clearly and can understand and follow along when people try to shoot the breeze you’ll be fine. There will be idiots that cannot be pleased no matter what you do, but many people won’t care and won’t even remember what their server looked like. I think there are tips and tricks you could look up that are intended for increasing your tips, and glancing over those lists and trying out the tamer ones you are comfortable with might help make people happy you’re their server. Though if you’re starting out there might always be a period of stress while you’re still learning how to handle the curveballs that get thrown at you.
