I just want a place where I can take a transit somewhere instead of being dependent on random people and having to walk/bike everywhere as apart of daily living.

I had a weird dream last night. The TV remote was just the rubber number pad. And I was trying to find something to watch. All the channels were scrambled, except one showing cartoons. But, I didn't know if I wanted to watch. So, I tried to pull up the info screen. But my cat hates that so he started fighting with me over the remote. He didn't have hands or anything, he just kept biting the buttons to change the channel.

Spent around two hours chatting with a dog owner, the one I'd exchanged phone numbers with, and found out she likes to play vidya. She's excited for GTAVI but I didn't have the heart to say "I think it looks like it'll be wokeshit and I couldn't care less" because I know she's relatively radical feminist. She broke my heart by saying she liked the Saints Row reboot "because it's a girly game".
I still like her a lot, she's a very interesting person and her dog is super cute, but I also know to try and keep my politics far away from any conversation we have. Just smile and wave, boys. Smile and wave.

We got a new good boy about a week and a half ago. He goes for his first vet appt, today, and I'm pretty sure at this point that he's going to be the kind of dog who needs his anal glands expressed on a regular basis. Ugh. I always swore I'd never take on a dog who needs that kind of upkeep, but I'm hopong for the best? He's already ours. There's no going back. Wish us luck.

Reconnecting with some old friends I fell out of touch with and getting to know my new coworkers better. He's on a lamb and rice blend his old sir used to feed him. Makes sense for the breed, because they often have food allergies and environmental allergies. But he still hasn't gotten over the initial depression of rehoming. He's only eating 2c a day, grazing. His stool is soft. Which reminds me that I have to collect some. Thanks!
