I'm prepping for a trip! Yes, I leave at the crack of dawn, and no, there's not a thing in my suitcase yet, but I'm feeling good!

I was thinking about that today and was wondering if you were already there.I'm prepping for a trip! Yes, I leave at the crack of dawn, and no, there's not a thing in my suitcase yet, but I'm feeling good!
TY! And I must have swallowed some happy juice today, bc even though I'm behind on prep atm, I can't imagine it won't be great!I was thinking about that today and was wondering if you were already there.
Have a blast. Enjoy the scenery! Be proud of yourself and your kid. You deserve a break. I hope it's a wonderful trip. The world can wait a second. I truly hope you enjoy yourself.
When I first learnt driving, I quickly realized that people are just shit at driving. The amount of near misses I've experienced while cycling just cause some asshole wanted to gain 3 seconds by overtaking in the other lane or doing a quick turn is enough to put me off driving entirely. And most of the time it's a third worlder doing this. Hence I decided I'm never putting the keys in a car ignition till I live in a civil society.I’m finally getting the hang of driving! I’m also understanding why people are so angry when driving. Cause like what the heck are people doing on the road? This one time this guy with a big ass truck was just driving oncoming at me, and he just smiled, waved, and kept going. I swerved out the way and he just KEPT driving oncoming. He was wearing a cowboy hat too????
Hope you have a wonderful time.I'm prepping for a trip! Yes, I leave at the crack of dawn, and no, there's not a thing in my suitcase yet, but I'm feeling good!
I’ve realized people kinda just do random shit on the road a lot and it always catches me off guard. Just the other day I was in the roundabout and some dude joined as I was going, nearly crashing into me. I had to slam on the brakes. I guess I am a “third worlder” so idk maybe I’m actually the one driving wrong and I don’t realize it.When I first learnt driving, I quickly realized that people are just shit at driving. Maybe its anxiety speaking but I always try to consider the impact my actions have, in every scenario. Its like that Michael Stuhlbarg character in MIBIII, trying to see all possible futures and picking the best one. When it comes to the road, I always think about how much of a pain in the ass I would be if I were to do something, for the person behind me or in the other lane. If I try to speed then Im a nightmare for pedestrians, if I take the opposite lane for overtaking then Im a nightmare for people in the opposite lane, if I turn without indicators then Im a problem to the guy at the back and if I swerve then Im a problem to everyone in general. So I end up driving like an old grandpa if I ever do. And when I meant people turn like idiots, I meant thisI’ve realized people kinda just do random shit on the road a lot and it always catches me off guard. It's been almost two years since mine died this coming July. It's been ~10 years since my dad died and I've just realized I forgot how he sounded like.
Not a boomer, (youngest boomers are hitting retirement kind of age too…) but it’s bad everywhere, and older employees are discriminated against as well.Yeah, tell that to the boomers. Now watch them say, "all part of the game," "go back to school," "it's not THAT bad," "try applying to xyz," when they're likely set in their career or pleasantly retired.
I see, I'm sorry for my harshness. Not a boomer, (youngest boomers are hitting retirement kind of age too…) but it’s bad everywhere, and older employees are discriminated against as well.
My area of where I work is critically short of people.
Don’t be. You’re right to feel annoyed about it. It’s a tough market right now. Let us raise a brew to Total corporate deathI see, I'm sorry for my harshness.
I met 'that' person. Not a soulmate. If you know, you know. It has me fucked up.
