Answer: Hot sauce/red hot pepper flakes/black (or white) pepper deal with sinuses.

Might add in garlic, ginger and for some reason turmeric makes it feels spicier. Add in black pepper too, as the bioavailability is shit for turmeric alone.
Cook it with some dairy, as the turmeric makes it gritty and dry otherwise.

It's tasty as fuck though.

I've been using a cleansing smoothie which greatly benefited me, plus another beet smoothie.
Recipe for Turmeric and Smoothie shake:
  • 1 cup of milk (we use unsweetened almond milk)
  • 1" (or less) of raw ginger
  • 1 tbsp of turmeric and cinnamon
  • I Banana
  • 1/2 Lemon juice (depends on size)
Pulse and instantly drink; it cleanses the liver and helps you burn belly fat~ :heart-full:

Turmeric to me is quite earthy, but I tend to exaggerate when adding it onto rice/soups for my consumption

None of that sounds unhealthy in any way and in fact it's probably good for you, but come on now, cleanses are bullshit and your liver cleans itself.

Also there's no localized fat reduction. You lower your body fat systemically through diet and exercise, or nothing.

Like I said, what you got there seems like a perfectly safe and actually pretty healthy thing to drink, but don't expect it to do something it can't and won't do.

I read this article and was given milk thistle, not at the same time as the liver cleanses to my recollection. I've stopped taking that supplement, apologies for the PL's.

Tell that to my mother who at one point worshipped Dr. Oz and ironically didn't heed "turmeric/vodka" and his feeble wars against olive oil lmao and she's proudly against Facebook.
That recipe was from a relative and there's a second remedy involving tablespoons of honey and maybe minced garlic to ferment in the dark, so heading into herbal witchcraft territory. 💊

Although the hot sauce seems to have worn off as I woke up in the middle of the night with this medical problem. You'd think in the middle of covid the docs and such would take something like this very seriously, but they are too busy boning their under developed tiny nurse chicks and dancing in the hallways I guess.
 
The new station was playing Lizzo earlier today and I went from disappointed to downright disgusted.
I know this a goofy thing to get upset about but I've been without wifi for a while now so losing the only semi-decent music station around is just like pouring salt in an open wound.
 
I'm reaching the deadline of a pretty important paper/thesis I'm working on. I know I'll be finished by then and it will be a decent piece of work, but I am still dreading the deadline. I haven't slept well in some days because of it, having small spikes of panic every here and there, and don't really know what to do. I've already stopped drinking too much coffee, am drinking a lot more water, go for daily walks, do yoga, try to eat properly etc... but this whole thing still riles me up more than it should. (:_(
 
I'm nervous because I take the Series 7 exam today. It's a lot of stuff and a good deal of it I'm shaky on. If I fail, I have one more chance to take it before I get let go from my job. I hope I pass it, because I take the Series 63 in June and I just want to move on to that and not have to devote more time to material on the 7.
 
My Husbands birthday is tomorrow. I'm so excited to spend time with him tonight and such. The only issue will be that it'll be super hot tomorrow and my A/C is still out. But, I have a window unit in the living room and there will be one in our room soon.

Somewhat flabbergasted now, after talking with my mom on the phone.

My grandmother is fat and old, and can't really do much. Since well, the body has enough with being fat and old. Anyway, my mom want to focus on getting her one of these robot lawn mower instead of a robot vacuum.
Hired maid is doing a bad job and is rarely there. Anyway, In my opinion. Keeping it clean with vacuuming regularly is more important than keeping the damn lawn nice and tidy. Having shit environment inside is surely affecting the air quality. It's not as bad as how Chantal has it, but it's not worthy living conditions.

Not my first rodeo though, I've been nagging a long time for my grandmother to get regular short haired rugs instead of those long haired ones. Because shit are acclimating more into it, and they are hard to get clean. She did get it changed to short haired though.

I feel like a micro-managing bitch, but that's because the rest of my family is incompetent

Now seriously, could it be a thing about keeping appearances? People in the neighborhood can see the grass getting long, but not the dusty interiors. Your mom (or grandma herself) may be more worried about them judging than about the practical and health matters.

True, and it's in a small village where everybody knows everyone. Keeping appearances is fine, but you can do both. That's the frustrating part.
