Feeling good, currently at the gym. Have a fucking rack with weights right behind me, as if the people redecorating didn’t think people actually deadlift here. When there is only one dedicated deadlift-spot. Which I don’t like to use, cause I get disturbed by people wanting to use it.
So feeling pressured to have perfect lifting-technique.

And dude, a retard did lay on a yoga mat right beside the rack I lift at, so I was nervous about hitting him. And of course, there was a free spot longer away from me. And yes, he did lay down after I came.

What the fuck is it with old geezers being a fucking hindrance? Is it to fuck with me?
 
"Apprehensively hopeful" is how I'd describe my current feelings.

I have my car in the shop right now. I've authorized the transmission replacement, and went ahead with several other fixes that were considered high priority. It's expensive, but I weighed my options and decided that it would be worth it to keep this car going for a couple more years if I can. It's old, but known to be reliable with maintenance. Assuming they repair and replace everything properly (main thing im concerned about), my car may run better than when I bought it two years ago. I also hope it doesn't take more than two weeks or so like they estimated.

Next, I put in an application to another job. It's full time compared to my current one. But all things considered it will pay double what I'm making right now. I had a virtual interview today, and will hear back in a couple days. It went okay, but I dont know if I'll get picked. Another job opening somewhere else for similar pay popped up so I might apply to there too as a plan B.

It's several things that I'm hoping will work out, and if they do I'll be happy. I feel like things are changing a lot in my life right now.

Lastly, I'm rather concerned about the weather. A few days with freezing temps and possible snow is coming later this week. We had issues with a freeze last year and I'm hoping we have no pipe issues. I'm not worried about the cold for me, but I am worried how my chickens will fare. I got them last year in the spring and while theyve dealt with cold nights this year, they haven't seen snow or prolonged freezing temps yet.
 
Feeling stuck. Seasonal depression never seemed to get to me before, but this winter has been fucking rough. Finding bed bugs creeping into my shitty little apartment again (after I don't know how many treatments by exterminators over the last nine months, to the entire building-and, of course, affordability/availability in my area is basically nil so moving isn't feasible at the moment), been finding at least one a day for two weeks. It's been harder sticking to my exercise routine, some days I just can't get motivated. Life is shit right now.
 
Actually looking forward to a snowstorm. I guess because my dogs enjoy it so much, and I love watching them in the snow. Let it come, I'm well stocked. I figure this is the perfect time to burn through the last of my smoke before a t-break. I managed to save up about 3 grams of kief, so it should be a good time. Gonna get cozy and watch a shitload of movies I DVR'd from Turner Classics. I used to love watching some of these movies with my granddad.
 
The cunt below me put in a noise complaint, which I’m convinced is almost entirely because I leave for work at 5:00-6:00 a.m.
So I gave them something to complain about, which was dumb.

Managed to get some highly concentrated hydrogen peroxide on my hand and didn't realize it until it felt like half of my right hand was on fire and I looked down and it was bleached whiter than a piece of copy paper. So that's something.

UPDATE: The "burn" went away in a couple hours. Was actually kind of cool in hindsight.
 
Eat shit, snow. I have an entire chicken and some Amish noodles and everything else I need to make Amish chicken and noodles. Tomorrow at around six my Dutch oven will be filled with noodles, chicken, and fuck you snow.
 
We've had one real snow event so far this winter but it's the fucking cold that has been absolutely brutal the last three weeks. We had a seven day stretch where the wind chill never got above -5 and was regularly -30 in the mornings. I'm waking up crying after I check the forecast every morning because I have to walk about a mile to work. It hasn't been as bad the last few days but temps are going down again.
