As of late it seems like everywhere I go that has a sweet tea dispenser the tea is always warm if not outright hot.
Why is this? I've never known anyone to drink sweet tea hot, but that's how it is in the Chinese buffet and in the university cafeteria.
On one hand it accentuates the sweet flavor, but on the other hand it just feels wrong.

It's shitty employees not bothering to ice it. Sweet tea should 100% be consumed ice cold you're a fucking psychopath if you drink that shit hot.

Anyone who drinks hot iced tea is severely disturbed.
It's only worth drinking when it's fridge cold.

Ice cold unsweet tea for me.

It's hot or warm because they just made it. Put a lot of ice cubes in it.

Usually the tea is made piping hot then you put in the ice to both cool it and dilute it a bit. Or you can chill it and have it concentrated. If I want hot tea I go for another kind rather than pure black tea.

Hot sweet tea is great. I prefer unsweetened tea cold though.
