Love Live! SuperStar!! has started its 3rd season recently, and it already feels like since Season 2, they're trying way too hard to market and milk the Liella! group, even though reception to the them hasn't been as good as μ's, Aqours, and even Nijigasaki got better reception, I think. Liella! also has gotten bloated in terms of members, from 5 members in Season 1, to 9 in Season 2, and 11 in Season 3. If they somehow get a Season 4, expect them to overtake Nijigasaki in terms of member count.

After One Punch Man had a horrible Season 3 adaptation with lazy animation done by JC Staff, it still continues on, with Season 3 Part 2 coming out in 2027.

It was probably set in stone that Season 3 would be done in 2 parts, sort of like how Netflix pre-approves shows for 2 Seasons at the start.

Is S3 any worse than 2? I find it hard to believe they could go lower.

It had scenes like THIS, so it did get lower:

It baffles me how much they decided to cut the budget of one of the highest performing animes worldwide at a time. They completely dropped the ball. I don't really know how you'd properly follow up to S1 anyways, but they seriously screwed it. Then they cheap out even more once they didn't see the returns they wanted or something??

8 Out of 10 Cats, started in 2005, so been running over 20 years now. Was fresh when it started but now just very stale with the same old guests, many of who are just awful.

Love, Death & Robots, another show that was fresh when it came out but feels like they ran out of interesting ideas pretty fast. They even tried to redo the idea with video games for Amazon which was awful, with a few of them being ads for games no one cares about such as Exodus and Honor of Kings.

Star Trek, forget about how bad the paramount+ shows have been, how the hell does it have so many spin offs? Since 2017, they have had 7 Star Trek shows airing. That is crazy over milking of any show, even a good one.

Bob's Burgers, do I need to even need to explain? Matt Groening is like Elon Musk with the amount of kids he has. So I don't think The Simpsons will go away after he dies.

I would pay money for Netflix to stop making the Witcher.

I realize this is mostly me being super autistic but I fucking love those books (they are genuinely very very good especially if you like worldbuilding, the audiobooks specifically are outstanding, Peter Kenny should narrate everything forever) and it's like they hired people that hated them to write that show. I would get it if they were adapting the games and playing fast and loose I GUESS?? but no, they're taking plotlines and characters from the books in name only and carrying on like they make sense.

Idk if there's a better place for this (or if I'm allowed to just make my own Witcher hate thread detailing all of my grievances, I feel like that would be healing) but Jesus Christ why wouldn't you just cancel the fucking thing when Henry Cavill left.

There was even 4Kids-levels of censorship in that Season too:

And JC Staff were so lazy that they just MOVED THE PNGs in the Season 3 Part 2 announcement:

who is watching the endless walking dead spinoffs and why? clearly they have an audience big enough to fund it, but who are these freaks?

I just learned Euphoria is still going even though it premiered in 2019 and production of the third season was delayed due to the Hollywood strikes in 2023 along with the deaths of one of the actors and executive producers.

The seething by cat ladies and troon sympathizers over Sydney Sweeney reprising her role in the show is worth 10 or more so episodes.

The first season was perfectly contained. As far as I'm concerned, that's the whole show.

I wonder if the Simpsons will end when Matt Groening dies.
Matt Groening is always over credited for the Simpson. Granted he did create the iconic art style and he jumpstarted the whole thing.

But all the iconic episodes, memes and best jokes of the golden age were written by other people. In fact I don’t recall him having that much writing credits. And in documentaries I never see him among the writers room.

Allegedly he is some sort of overseer? But with how much the Simpson decline seems to coincide with the old writers leaving, I think evidence points out it was them that made the show the huge juggernaut it eventually became. I personally suspect he is more of a figurehead.

fucking hell I can't stand that lot of washed up unfunny twats that just repeat "the tories" ad nauseum

I would say family guy needs to be cancelled but I watched some of the more recent episodes the other day and they got a genuine laugh or two out of me but that might of just been the fact I was very inebriated
