The best thing about all this 'controversy' is that the game is almost certainly going to end up being a forgettable, completely inoffensive, mid tier Ubisoft style open world game.

Great marketing for the developer, honestly. The outrage has somehow managed to convince terminally online conservative culture warriors that playing and defending a Harry Potter game - a brand inextricably tied with feminists and out of touch libs, created by a woman obsessed with virtue signaling - is based and redpilled.

doesn't have to be bad tho. if all you want is run around in a robe and blast niggas with faux latin spells it might be fun for a bit. if you expect the star citizen version of hogwarts you'll probably be disappointed.

Modeling an enormous intricate castle would cost an insane amount of money, so it'll quickly spill out into a bunch of bland ass open-world forest/dungeon/mountain levels outsourcing studios can churn out.

that's only if it's enormous and intricate, not running down grey stone halls with the expected setpiece inbetween. from what I remember the castle isn't really "that" big, movies just made it look like that for effect. anyone who ever visited a boarding school know what to expect.

Just the castle as a setting actually seemed to me pretty small for a AAA open world game. Is also a setting that has been thoroughly figured out already by the large ammount of HP media that already exists, so not like they had to design it totally from scratch.

Passively watched the ign preview with their faggy grandstanding, and outside of being pathetic, it also made it sound like the game was pretty pozzed with "body type" and choose if you are called wizard or witch. I have pretty low tolerance to this stuff in general and something tells me crap like this will be present in more than just the character creator.

That aside, if I hear that the game isn't as pozzed as it looks and if it has good word of mouth not based on owning the trannies, I could be interested. But I also expect it to be a bog standard ubisoft game and I tend to get bored quick of those (barely played Horizon, didn't even bother with Tsushima because I knew it would eventually lose me, I doubt Hogwarys will be as refined as either). I still did read the books when they were coming out so would love to be wrong on the game's merits.

I honestly think it's "organic" or as organic as 20 tranny mods screaming and frothing out of the mouth can be.
