It’s basically a story-based adventure. Meaning: no classes outside of the main story. Majority is playing outside of the school.
I was hoping for a school simulator with a story (of course) but it’s nothing compared to what I would’ve wanted. Btw, never read any HP book or watched any movie, not my thing. This game looked interesting even to me, a wizard „Bully“.
It still might be good depending what people will say when it releases. Just again proven right to not preorder any game whatsoever.

well, that's a shame if it's true, because like you, I don't know shit about Harry Potter,
but I would like a game that does what the College of Winterhold should have been lol

My grandma's into the books and movies even more than I am. She isn't into vidya so I doubt she'd ever play Legacy but she once spent her anniversary with my grandpa visiting Orlando Studios just to see the Wizarding World's Christmas decorations in person.

As for the game, I'll be picking it up because more fantasy is good fantasy, I grew up with the books, and frankly, the wife likes HP, so, fuck it, could be fun. The absolute seething of the troon masses is just the hanging tranny corpse on the tree.

It's from the Wizarding World Fan Club. Despite the name, it's an official site that gives you a couple of in-game rewards when you finish it.

This game is destined to be garbage, I really don't have any hopes for that anymore, not that I even had it at some point but I digress.

Some days ago they announced the PC specs for this game and it requires an astonishing 32 Gb of ram, we are talking about a game that's supposedly going to run on a stock PS4 here, how bad is the optimization for this shit? But the red flags don't stop there, they are not even going to release the old-gen versions of this game right now, it must be in development hell just like Cyberpunk.

Some people are ok with that, saying that the old gen should just die already, but we are not talking about a willing decision here, the devs are botching the product because they are simply incompetent. This is a WB game after all, some months ago they release that stupid DC game that is so bad it's almost unplayable and has complete garbage performance even on a PS5.

And I'm talking only about technical issues here, but even the gameplay seems dreadful. They are weirdly secretive about basic gameplay aspects of the game, the videos are short and with a suspicious lack of depth. We enter Hogwarts at 15 when everybody knows you should be 10, and, according to rumors, your daily life in the schools is going to be minimal and most of the game is just dicking around walking in the map checking question marks just like every other bloated open world made by UbiSoft.

But the game pisses off trannies so everybody is going to support it regardless. I just want to inform these people that half of this game programmers must be trannies themselves.

I don’t know what I find funnier - Wildcat thinking people still go to Gamestop at midnight, or that he’s trying to get good boi points by doing this considering he’s friends with Vanoss (who’s actively trying to get himself cancelled at this point, change my mind) and laughs at all the edgey shit Vanoss says.

You might be right about the games technical issues - it’s a AAA Game in Current Year, those go without saying unfortunately - but I’d still counter point by saying off concept alone, the game would more than earn it’s budget back. It’s an Open World Hogwarts Game - outside of Twitter, no one really gives a shit about the whole Rowling v Trannies thing.

You are literally a bad person if you buy this game. Also, apparently this is a "very simple request." Is it? You're telling me not to play a game about wizards because it is somehow going to physically and mentally harm transgender people. Just because the intellectual property the game is based on was created by a lady that believes in biological sex. Meanwhile nothing about the game itself seems to tote that anti-trans energy. It uses body type 1 and 2 for character creation, is quite diverse with dysgenic mutts, and is probably going to make Slytherin the baddies.

The way I see it, if you don't give a fuck about Harry Potter at all this game isn't for you. It's not going to be some cutting edge groundbreaking shit. Fans of the movies are just excited to get an openworld HP game, if it's at least pretty good by "gamer" standards / better than a movie tie in, that's just a bonus.

How many games you can name that lets you play as the villain oppressing minorities? I mean there's the Overlord (2007) and it's sequels, and what else? Tyranny by Obsidian? Seems like this game might be worth a go even if you don't care for Mr. Potter.
 
And troons always forget that harry potter is kinda of a big deal in places that actually pay money like China, they even had their own mobage that for what i can tell it is a diluted version of this game for mobiles and was good for what it was, so even if they manage to hurt a little sales, Asia will pick the pace, WB know this that is they are banking on the troons to promote the game more in the west
