I just found these on an old hard drive. They were on the internet in the early 2000s but I took those pages down and only recently rediscovered them (and I did in fact search to see if maybe they were already mirrored somewhere, but stuff from 2001 tends not to be).

Update: Originally there was a MediaFire download link here but people were saying they didn't trust that, so I converted the comics to images to directly upload them here:

Most of the jokes are just me being autistic but there are two that are actually references to something: Click only if you really need them explained:

FIRST COMIC = When I was in high school a common high school cheer was something like "look to the left, look to the right, turn around and fight fight fight!" For all I know they still do this, but just in case they don't... that's why Luigi says it at one point.

SECOND COMIC = I imagine there's enough movie fans with good taste to get this one, but if you're wondering what the recurring "Flash! Ahhhh!" thing is about... its a reference to a song by Queen that was used in the 1982 Flash Gordon movie.

Just some random thoughts and notes and "making of" deets for those who care:

-Originally made on Windows 98 (first edition) using its version of MS-Paint.

-I would've been like 18 at the time. Do NOT go easy on me.

-Obviously, I got the sprites myself from the various games (and shockingly I can still name every game used as a source). At the time I didn't know about better art tools and Paint had no easy way to separate sprites from backgrounds, so I went the lazy route.

-Back in 2001 you couldn't just Google Image Search things. A friend had to actually get the cartoon screengrab and the coloring book scan for me for the 2nd comic. (Why a coloring book scan? I actually wanted a shot from the cartoon but my friend couldn't find one that would work for my purpose, so he gave me an image from a coloring book instead).

-Anyone who remembers Win98's MS-Paint knows how shit it's "Fill" tool is for scanned images. That's why it looks like I tried to color Fat Cat in manually but gave up.... that's literally what happened.

-This is a weird case of me accidentally predicting a trend. I don't think I caused it or anything (I'm not that stupid), but years later there was stuff like "year of Luigi" and just general the internet started going nuts about Luigi being so awesome.

For you guys, this is gonna be me just posting autistic comics he made over twenty years ago. For me this was Tuesday is legit nostalgic.

Maybe attach them to your post as jpegs like a normal person?
>less then a megabyte in size
You know you could just... directly upload here yeah?
Wait... can you directly upload zip files to Kiwifarms?

Right now I'm turning the comics (which were HTML pages that called images) into just continuous PNG files and directly posting them here behind Spoiler Marks. The OP has been edited to show this.

Converting the second comic now. I tried to find a faster way but I'm having to screencap a part of the page, edit that, save it as an image, then scroll down and screencap/edit the next bit... I tried to use Firefox and Chrome extensions that were supposed to do this for me but they for some reason just decided to stop working so I'm having to manually printscreen....

If there's a faster/easier way to do this, I don't know of it.

ITT: "Things I wish I had known an hour ago."

All's well that ends well though, and honestly I'm a bit happier with them being direct uploads in image form versus trying to distribute a zip file with 2001-era HTML by a guy who hadn't yet even figured out how to use the text-align=justify function (and even that is probably really oldschool by now).

I'm surprised there isn't a pozzed/viral sticker.
..... Does "pozzed" have a second meaning I'm not aware of or is the OP actually coming off as political to you?

"Pozzed" is fag slang for having a disease (usually sexually-transmitted.) Any DDL link should be presumed to be pozzed unless proven to be neither fake nor gay.
Ah, okay. For some reason I always thought it meant someone was political. Though I guess politics are a disease...

Anyway, the MediaFire link is gone now. I do wish I had known it was a no-go before I posted but, again, all's well that ends well.
