Help for Autistics?

How can autistics be helped? and by autistics I don't mean people like Chris-Chan or the odd ducks who lurk on the internet.

I mean people like this child :

It's really like they are trapped in their own little world isn't it? The question is, how do you help them?

Do you just take away their cartoons/video games and force them to socialize?

I am curious genuinely.
