Okay, as unhappy as I am with AH right now, I'll give them that the update doesn't seem to have anything that immediately stands out as retarded. Besides things that are just them fixing shit that they broke (vehicles, sentries, and the ballistic shield), it looks like they made a few good changes. Vox Engines are less stupid, chargers are supposed to be less agile but now slightly faster, and a lot of the grenades got increased capacities for some reason.
Things like fixing the stupid Rocket Pod and OPS damage should have done a year ago, not when Snoy decided to crack the whip after seeing the swedeniggers did a stupid and piss off the playerbase again.

Am I insane, or would this just kill everyone in the vehicle if you ever shoot in the vehicle's path for more than like... 6 seconds?
If I wasn't a retarded Swede I'd use the same parameters the hammer has where the explosion cannot harm the wielder. Give every passenger a flag that the flamer is not able to harm them.

You should still be able to accidentally blow another passenger's head off when they pop out while you're firing your own small arm from your passenger position.

As usual they took months to do shit that should've been done in the first place. Cyberstan would've been fun with those tweaks.
This change will only mean shit if they actually learn not to overtune the spawn rates of large elite enemies. Dragonroaches during Oshaune were the Vox Engines of their day at least in terms of the game spawning excessive amounts of them

The Oshaune landfall experience: orbital rail, emancipator, explosive primary. I have to admit it was kino seeing a Dragonroach come to a stop and hearing the retort of 2 or more emancipators firing at it, seeing it get blown apart. And now it's even better because they're weaker and their wings are fatal parts.

Our go to method for dropping a roach out of the sky on the first assault of Oshuane were the napalm EATs. One shot center mass almost always one shotted and even if it didn’t it’s health should be so low that small arms fire should finish it off.

Although, that tactic wasn’t very viable when you have 30 of the fuckers strafing your ass the moment you pop your head out of one of the caves.

And yet with a tight team working with a plan and bringing the right tools you could do the thing the devs hate and be an elite fighting force meeting new bugs and returning them to the carbon cycle while working the objectives. You let enough time go by that there are now two dragon roaches flying around outside the tunnel network? That's doable, we have a mech up, the pilot has a spear and someone has a recoiless.

But the vox engines on Cyberstan? LMAO fuck you playerbase we're done even pretending to give a shit. Call us when Bungie fucks up a sure thing and Snoy Corporate is desperate for any kind of positive PR in their live service division! :story:

Wait, Bungie did WHAT? GUNNAR DEPLOY THE PATCH. THE NON-MALICIOUS ONE.

I agree, but refer to my post above yours lmao. None of that means shit when the game decides “fuck u, here 20 dragon roaches” it was a miracle to even get close to having extract available if there were any objectives on the surface. God forbid if you had to use the Gator.

Oshaune was very much retarded on launch yeah. I could deal with the rupture strain and how unavoidable they were because I learned quickly that the purifier and other explosive guns could hit them underground not just grenades and the hover pack was actually a good niche for them. The Dragonroaches to me were the biggest insult because the wings were a useless target that existed to soak damage and stop you from killing them because they weren't a fatal-if-destroyed part initially. Logic is not a Swede monkey's strong suit.

Somehow the new squid mechs did not usher the same reaction and are kinda cool but they're more like regular elites and not super heavy elites like the Leviathans. Just you wait until they bring back those great eyes from 1 and they have 20,000 health and you need to be prone on your back underneath them to fire straight up into their booty hole to kill them, but you need to be using electric weapons and it has to be night time on the map or else the hole is closed. Also they move around so it's hard to shoot them in the weak spot. That's real balance!

Side note I wanted them to change it so any explosive worked in the same way spawner holes work to take out Vox Engines "the intended way", because it's silly that literally any grenade works, even smoke, it just has to sink into the vent. I guess the cannons being like 5 times less durable and killing the vox if destroyed is a compromise.
