On the topic of additions I am excited for, that gas dominator has continued to intrigue me. Having a good AOE DOT area denial weapon is always a lot of fun. Otherwise the backpack hellbomb has some very cool uses I can already think of. As soon as armor customization comes out me and my friend are stoked to do some gay spec-ops stealthdiver stuff and the portable hellbombs would be perfect for a commando style loadout.
 
I really like the suicide cult theme of the Warbond, leaks have been coming out for a combat axe secondary so I'm ready to go full retard suicide mode and throw myself at the enemy with the bombpack active.
 
The shovel looks interesting but I haven't been able to use it yet. I only got to play one game yesterday and it was absolutely fucked. I just do a quick search on like Diff 8 or 9, get into a match. "Oh there is still like 25+ minutes. This should be easy." I think to myself before I join in. I joined in not noticing our reinforcement budget was extremely low, and within 1 minute of landing our reinforcement budget was depleted because two idiots airstrike themselves (this was a theme until they finally quit). I found the shovel in a bunker while surrounded by bots with tanks and hulks, I go "I'll check this out" my spear lands on the ground and I said "Oh hell no!"

Did extract but not after more people quit leaving me and one other guy fighting for our lives at extraction.

Did a level 8 flag mission yesterday, and the L3 guy was completely ignoring the objectives and markers just digging holes with the shovel. Within 5 minutes the other two teammates left.

After that, the shovel guy started to kick ass around and being completely serious, killing bots left and right using only turrets and helping me with team reloads.

We ended up clearing the entire map together, and even when the super destroyer already left, we both extracted alive. No joke, he turned out to be the best mission buddy I’ve ever had so far. Liberty speed my brother in democracy!
 
Gonna be difficult to find the right equipment for the bomb backpack if I gotta go light armor and can't wear any shields. Will be an interesting conundrum.

I fondly remember First contact with the new enemy types going to absolute shit as our strategy and weapons proved completely ineffective.

Just barely managed to succeed and sacrifice myself to save the rest of the team. Good times.
