glad im not the only one.

Veld apparently is also going too fast, despite 300k players it was dripping a 1% an hour. Even the worlds they want you on will not progress if they dont desire it, obnoxious.
I think what the devs WANTED to happen is that it would take a while to liberate the planet, and as it got close to ticking down, the Federation would started to give us new gear. The Warthog like jeep is starting to show up in more random matches now

They need to get really creative to keep it fresh and maintain their plans. I have not played it but two ideas come to mind.

D.day style invasions that are insanely difficult to repel.

And an enemy alliance or advantage system where the robots and bugs will team up/take advantage of each other to mess up helldiver's.

The GM's notes might be fucked up on an order of magnitude 'cause the game was more popular than anticipated.
Yeah, they're probably trying to find a sweet spot between the absolute asspain of defend 8 planets, and single/double planet liberations going in under 5 hours. To be fair, Joel rigging shit for now is probably better so that more people can actually participate in the orders and get the rewards, rather than every order getting speedtrannied in two hours so most people who have jobs and lives can't even get rewards.

Now, if they figure out a good spot for the orders and macro game, and Joel keeps obviously rigging planets, that's turbogay.

Helldiver 1 enjoyer here.

Helldiver 2 is the perfect game to chill and play with the homies. I haven't had this much fun or laughs in a game since forever. Best of all is a game that you can pick up and play and not feel that youre left behind. Hell when malevolon creek felled i felt kinda bad and felt motivated to go back and do better. It is a simple game at its core, but damm if it aint fun. Considering thye havent added the super fun stuff yet, i would say the game has a bright future as long as the devs dont bend the knee to the faggots or fumble the ball with updates/content.

Im doing my part!

At higher difficulties the game is unforgiving, diifuclt, and imo very fun.
This is the part I find most surprising about the game, difficulty does not equal more health/spongier enemies, a lot of them are up armored, but they still have their squishy bits that you can nearly one-shot. I played a Helldive mission and was surprised that I had a really good time even though I was way under leveled for it.
The only good thing the GM is doing is that, apparently, random people are getting access to the Mech/Vehicle stragems to try out during a mission as a form of marketing/hype.
I was thinking that people were getting access to this shit because of exploiters or something, but if they're doing that then that's cool as fuck.

Tips on using the spear missle. It has a minimum (20 m?) range, bile titans can be deleted by one missile directly to the forehead (titan must be facing helldiver).

Couldn't they find a better way to make it plausible, like the bots and bugs do surprise attacks or have unexpected reserves? Could they make random incursion attacks deep into bot or bug territory that's only available on certain times or days? Maybe have the random attacks on planets so they're only available during peak hours.

Difficulty doesn't change any stats on any enemy besides what spawns in and in how many numbers. On Helldive you could face like, 3 or 4 bile titans but hard you'll only face 2 at once. It doesn't cut down on the amount of chaff, it just increases the amount of elite and boss enemies

The Major Operation rewards are rewarded to the community even if you don't participate.

The daily Personal Orders (which have been missing for sometime) need you too personally complete.

I get what they're doing and why. The game is really suffering from it's success.
