Remember how intricate the specials effects for Manhattan in the movie were?

2000s HBO
The Sopranos gave us a world that was incredible close to reality and showed the viewer of how a life of crime & debauchery poisons the soul and the relationships we have with the people we love. The Wire subverted the tired Police Procedural by becoming a Shakespearean. Deadwood was the most brutal unflinching take of the Western Genre since Sam Peckinpah's filmography. Six Feet Under was a comedically dark show of how death shadows our lives. While not my cup of tea Sex and the City was revolutionary in how it portrayed adult relationships and broke cultural taboos.

It's incredible how stupider everything got over the course of this decade, where did everyone's brains go?

i'll just drop this right here

I guess technically he's a God and can alter his form at will but if you were God would you chose to be a nog?

It’s very out of character for him to arbitrarily change his appearance. He rarely takes into consideration that having his dick out is off-putting. When he’s going on TV the biggest concession he makes is to not glow incredibly bright.

Naturally, Dr. Manhattan’s actual personality must not have been factored into this creative decision.

What do you think this is an adaption of an Iconic Character in a sequel to said iconic characters series?>

Yes, ignore that movie that actually followed the comic and tried its damnedest to be respectable to the source material.

I was initially ambivalent towards the movie, but this show's made me respect it so much more.
The movie was also visually beautiful with phenomenal casting. What other beef someone may have with it, it was a high quality production. HBO's production is cheap, tacky, downright ugly, with garbage casting.

I haven't watched this and probably won't but I'm curious - is there any reason why they didn't use the Comedian as the inspiration for the white nationalists? It seems like he'd actually at least somewhat fit for what they're going for and they could've used his 'life's a joke' philosophy to tie them together with blackpilled trolls.

because the Stronk Woman assumed his mantle at the end of the comic....so you cant have the Stonk woman agreeing with the LITERAL NAZIS
