I don't know, it feels like it was one weird dream. I remember exploding online as one of the progenitors of tumblr sexyman and some shorts on cartoon network but i never knew it was going to haveshow that apparently took forever to release (2021), it was only five 11 minute episodes in spanish, only then dubbed 2 years later exclusive to (hbo) max and people are still waiting for the "second season" (rest of the episodes) to this day.

If i had to guess, it was a mix of production hell and cartoon network stopped caring because it's not a kids show or a reboot. Warner doesn't seem to give a fuck either.

I do find ironic how i often see people online say hazbin hotel "killed it" lol. It was created and started production way before hazbin but somehow hazbin managed to get a full season first and probably the next one.

I can say with near certainty Charlastor won’t be canon, as preferable a ship it may be. You’d sooner see RadioApple. I also wouldn’t read too much into what the VAs say and do because the majority of the time they’re just messing around and teasing fans to get this exact kind of reaction.

It's funny because so many people got upset when people were shipping Alastor with Charlie because it was....erasure of his asexuality; besides the fact that a character's sexuality never stops shippers from shipping. They were okay with Alastor being shipped with any of the male characters because, "it's still queer so it's okay".
