I feel like people on both sides of this are really missing the point, and I said this in my earlier post, but AI voices ARE NOT the same as AI "art"She's still going.

As an aside, archive.today is only saving the tweet itself instead of the replies for context, so I would try to archive every tweet just in case.
These artists and animators are basing the ethics of AI voices with their fears of AI "art", and when you put it like that: Oh no!!! Indie creators are using AI to voice their works, what next?? Big corporations? Oh the humanity!! Now art is truly dead and creativity is gone!
Trust, AI voices won't be replacing real people any time soon. If they want to fight the good fight they should make a list of companies who have fired artists and directors to replace them with AI (one comes to mind, Rayark recently fired 90% of their art team and generated AI images for their new character).
And ugh. Again with Viv's holier-than-thou attitude and that sass. Really reminds me of that time some Scottish TERF slighted a trans person on the internet and boomers and zoomers crossed paths for the first time.
So much of that arguing was JUST like this. "Oh bet he's a boomer who talks about the good ol days" or Viv's "lol cope harder" crap. Stop trying to impress your posse and engage in a debate without sass and using internet slang words. It's fucking embarrassing.
