To do that requires an actual artist with talent. Hayden (derp) is no Dave Sim. Even Dave Sim gone utterly batfuck crazy is more interesting than Hayden (derp).
(correcting weird mistaking of Hayden for Dobson, can't imagine how I'd make that mistake)

Ech. Those sketches are looking way better than the final product... which makes me worry for the artist. Have they chained him up in someone's basement and forced him to animate sloppily at a scary speed? Or is he just decent at drawing but in need of animation classes?
Speaking of animation, though. I see that these scenes were drawn specifically for the trailer. If you look closely, you can see narration cues.. which makes me wonder how much of this trailer is actually part of the show versus what was just animated for that trailer alone.
