Listening right now. I don't listen to many podcasts or radio shows beyond occaisonally turning on NPR in the car, but I don't get why it took him nine minutes to talk about the show and explain where he's been. The guy doing the show seems like a shitty host overall.

EDIT: Here's what I observed:

• The host repeatedly interrupts both Hayden and Julie when they go off on tangents about trans representation or how much hate the show's received
• Both Hayden and Julie call the "haters" virulent racists and use metaphors to compare them to small children, i.e. "taking their toys away"
• The host acknowledges that the audience of the podcast is "mostly already in the bag for Gen Zed" before essentially doing their marketing for them
• Julie says that what attracted her to Shona is her (and ostensibly Hayden's) "sense of humor." I don't know what to make of that
• Hayden mentions " The Kiwi Farm" (without the s) among other websites
• Hayden says that all recording is done and the episodes are partially mixed, but also that the animation is nowhere near done, so one can expect dodgy mixing when it comes to sound effects on top of the already mixed vocals
• The interview ends with the host once again shilling Gen Zed's website and their Redbubble
