Have you told people IRL about Chris?

My ex used to be super obsessed with Daniel Larson/Cyrax. she got me reintersed in Chris Chan and would keep me updated on Chris Chan shit (like when he apparently went to Finland). She was super autismo into lolcows.

My brother told me about him once after a local YTuber made a video about him, apart from it, a friend of mine is aware of him and even was the first time I heard the term lolcow

My husband’s actually the one who introduced me to the world and lore of CWC when we were just friends in high school.

In our close friend circle (there’s a small group of us who have hung out together since we were the weird anime and yugioh nerds at school) pretty much everyone is aware and vaguely up to date with Christory, outside of that we don’t really talk about it with people.

I've annoyed a friend i've had during high school with him, for context this is during the time when he JUST got out of jail so it was mainly the sightings and the first new yt vid was the climax after which we've both stopped caring.

I do mention Sonichu occasionally as an example of a derivative work when discussing fictional universes and intellectual property rights.

The funny thing is that if he didn't refer to his characters as Pokemon, most of them would be legally in the clear, even if they were obviously blatant rip-offs. Everyone gets their ideas from somewhere though.
I have a friend who's about 10 years old (a friend's kid irl, I'm not befriending children online) and he's been big into making OCs. Today he combined a Sonic character and a Pokemon.
SO IT BEGINS.
Recolor the Pikahawg is gonna rock the game industry like nothing else.

I think I brought up Chris IRL at least 5 times.

He's becoming more known, I was explaining what a "lolcow" was to people and when I said "Ever heard of Chris-Chan" and all three said "Oh, I get it now".

One of our new hires actually knows who Chris is, I actually use him as an example of how not to raise your kids.

Letting him use his autism as an excuse for everything was the biggest mistake in Chris's life. Even Sonichu and the Sweepstakes from 1993 or whatever couldn't do such a thing.

I used to as a teen like a total retard, but stopped after I realized how autistic it was to be recognized as Chris Chan girl irl.

I own a classic, bought it as a joke, wore it once to university, some dude recognized it and I'm back to being Chris Chan girl. Fuck my life.

when the incest saga was in full swing and Chris was becoming super mainstream i absolutely would not shut up about being present in the arrest stream (i still don't) whenever he came up. nowadays i feel like everyone is already fully aware of Chris Chan so i don't get the chance to brag about my power level

i'm quicker to wax on about people like Cobes before CWC

Última edición:
Asked my dad "have you heard of Christian Weston Chandler? Chrischan?"
-"no"
And the conversation ended there

During the incest saga I also told my friend about it and she was rightfully disgusted, but at that point I hadn't fully been submerged in the baptismal waters of Chris' autism so I didn't know much about christory. It was a short and sweet "dude wtf why are people respecting his pronouns"
