Have you ever been to NYC? How much did you hate it?

It was fine for the year or so I lived there other than the garbage smell that hits you at the main train station.

Less packed than Tokyo, far less annoying than west coast cities I'm stuck in that have a main character complex (Seattle the worst).

Went back in the late 80's. First encounter coming up from the station to street level was a black dude asking us where the nearest hospital was and holding his hand in a blood-soaked rag. Said he got shot. Wore out two pairs of shoes walking all over Manhattan, down to the Bowery, to St. Marks Square bought up a few things from Trash and Vaudeville, then over to Soho and got a few Geiger posters for myself and friends and saw neat art.

The boyfriend I went with got caught up in a 3 card monty game and lost a hundy when I suggested we watch rubes get taken; should have known smh. Also saw James Hetfield from Metallica just walking on the street. Didn't bother him but did say hi.

Would not go again I like the memories I have.

I went to Manhattan for a short vacation during the Bloomberg years and had a great time. Did all the lame, retarded tourist stuff, including going to a Broadway show. This was before the shitlibs took control and turned it into a giant nigger toilet.
Up until De Blasio became mayor it was great now its hot garbage and I'm planning to leave.

Went in 2012. I mostly go to NYC for JFK but I went once for funsies and ate ramen at some joint. The broth was incredible. Also had bubble tea and bought a cheese wheel in Chinatown and Little Italy respectively. Went to Times Square and saw a giant rat. Was fun. So much construction. When I got home, my nostrils were filled with soot and I had to blow my nose.

I've been several times in the 10s. Even Midtown was safer to be in despite the rampant traffic and solicitors inbetween the crowds of people. Would I go back NOW? Hell fucking no.
