Honestly my supervisor is a pretty impressive guy but it’s just too stressful for me to work for him. I occasionally vomit when I see a ping notification from him and I’ve lost 30 lbs in the last 6 months. About to have a call where I ask to roll off his projects, life is too short for this shit. Wish me luck bitches and gentlemen

This is not healthy. Something needs to change, but have you tried to talk with him?

What is going wrong? If he is impressive to you, I imagine he has qualities. Maybe a talk could help with some things.

It depends where he is from Europe, but I imagine the stress might come from the lack of positive reinforcement and that puts you off?

One thing I noticed with Americans (from my limited experience with them) is that they love performative social interactions. They always seem over the top to me. In the EU, management is much more focused on pure KPIs and don't really bother with the whole small talk thing. At least I don't, and I heavily discourage anyone to engage with me on that territory in rather brutal but non confrontational ways.

Even if that's not your issue, it's definitely not about your manager. It's about the way you're handling the situation.

I know it sounds retarded, but try to walk ChatGPT through your thinking process and correct or expand as you go. It's pretty good at identifying patterns, and it does not judge. On the contrary, it always try to help while sucking your dick a little to take the edge off.

Best of luck.

Seduce him and he will treat you more favorably. If you're lucky he'll even call you kitten.

If you like the guy, and you have all this going on, it could be your job, but it's likely an amalgamation of many things. Get help instead of wasting your time here.

What is even the job? Is it difficult?
Sounds like you're a professional keyboard clicker, that's easy shit and you're probably making decent money for it.

Maybe you're just not suited for keyboard clicking for the rest of your life. It can be mentally draining, I suppose, especially if you're doing something that you just treat as a job and you don't like.

My suggestion is that you always look for another job, even when you have a job that is safe and pays well.
You never know when THE opportunity will come and if you keep looking for it, the chances of it showing up will be high.

Is this where I post tiktok reels telling that you "deserve this" while signing up an 86-months long loan for a new enshitified RAM 2500 "truck" with a msrp of $140K.

You're impressed by a euro? Why? He probably drinks tea and watches soccer. Just remind him he'd have died in gulag if it weren't for America when he gets too uppity. Get some fucking backbone.

So what does he do?

Like specifically, what does he do.

I ended up getting an manager that I didn't like and switched jobs, why don't you?
