He most likely is doing a PirateSoftware, in that he's boosted his mic and talks with it right up in his face. Not quite a voice filter or voice changer. Still not his "real" voice.
 
This is why iDubbbz will always be a pathetic loser in my eyes. He had a loyal friend that genuinely liked him and wanted him to succeed (H3H3), and he betrayed him for genuine wastes of oxygen like Hasan.

Could be the TRT, tbh. Same happened with Sam Hyde, in his older videos his voice was a bit higher, now he's balding and he talks almost like Al Pacino (who also used to have a high pitched voice, but in his case what fucked his voice was smoking).
