PETA already gave a very lukewarm response
Now, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals is weighing in. In a statement to The Hollywood Reporter, the advocacy group says, “Hasan Piker has denied using a shock collar on his dog, and we hope that’s true because shock collars are dangerous and downright cruel. They put dogs at risk of burn wounds, chronic anxiety, and displaced aggression.”

PETA added, “positive reinforcement is a far more effective training method and doesn’t betray our animal companions’ trust in us.”

You're telling me this motherfucker is a multi millionaire (with a billionaire family?) who could easily buy or order a vibration collar in less than 10 minutes and instead he waits almost a day to take out the prongs and put black tape over the shock collar and pretend it's a vibration collar? That doesn't sound very smart.

Then again, a smart person wouldn't shock their dog live on stream. Not because they're not evil enough, but because they would know better than risk having the dog cry on camera and make them look bad. And especially not stare at it psychotically instead of helping.

I can only assume Hasan hates the dog more than his own image, as most people would try much harder to damage control than this. Even boogie, after biting his own dog on camera, still panicked when it yelped and made sure to calm it down.

Even more gross that OP seem to be an actual hasan fan who were in doubt, but the subreddit bullied them bad that OP apologizes for it.

EDIT: Adding new screenshot where OP clarifies they are a hasan fan who buys his merch (how capitalist huh) and still believe Hasan did not shock the dog and assumes he was hiding an ID or adress.

If it was a vibration collar why didn't he state that immediately?

Its obvious he snapped the screws or removed them somehow and then taped the back to hide that and hide the serial number.
