So… the story you believe is that Jim Conley, the janitor, wrote a letter from Mary Phagan’s point of view, accusing Newt Lee of murdering her. Then when questioned he lied about being able to write, lied about being in the building, and lied about meeting with Leo Frank the night before the murder (all of which he later confessed to)… but when his attempts to frame Newt Lee failed he suddenly became super trustworthy and everything he said afterwards was true? You really think that Leo Frank walked up to him on the street on his day off and made him write two nonsensical letters framing Newt Lee (even though he probably didn’t know that he even knew how to write)?
