So, I don't really follow this thread so forgive me if this has been answered, but...

.... Did this guy really switch to a suit look just because Shoe0nhead made fun of his clothes and it made him insecure?
Shoe0nHead may have been the instigator, but whenever Hasan's Twitch chat asks about it, he'll dismissively explain that the suit trend is for the purpose of looking appealing to grandmas seeing clips of him on Fox News or some such, hence the new Guccimarx video.

To be honest, I believe that there's a lot of truth to this in that with Hasan's big effort to put himself out as a player in Democratic electoral politics this year and the increased public exposure that comes with it, Hasan is attempting to clean up his visual presentation to be taken as a serious figure. I wouldn't be surprised if PR consultants have been involved. It's likely that his new idol NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani is a big inspiration in this, and it matches with the spacious hotel rooms he's often streaming in nowadays, but less so in his usual trinket-filled streaming room. It's also notable that Hasan took on the suits shortly after his infamous Cuba trip in which the calculated price tag of his whole attire was a big point of mockery, seemingly an attempt to mask his ostentatiousness with more generic-looking attire, though I've still seen him proudly namedrop the designer brand of whatever suit he's wearing that day.

I'm curious to see how long it takes for Hasan to drop the suits once the midterms are over. Or possibly sooner when all the primaries are done, especially if his main man Abdul El-Sayed loses the primary in Michigan a few weeks from now, since Hasan is way more passionate about subverting the Democrats with his preferred Islamo-socialists than defeating Republicans.

Though there's plenty of stupid things that Hasan says and does, I think he's also more calculating than critics usually give him credit him for. He's actually very careful in how he presents and conducts himself to his core streaming audience, the media, and the wider public, the suits being a part of this. For all the times that his mask slips too much to reveal his radicalism, Hasan has thus far been allowed to get away with it for the most part and thus feels empowered to push boundaries, especially with the favored protection from Twitch. He still knows that there are limits to what he can espouse explicitly, though, and is conscious of his precise language stay within them, even during his regular streams.

Speaking of suits, this is a month old now, but I've been meaning to share this moment in which Hasan complains about not having liberals coming to his defense, this being after Colorado venues cancelled a DSA rally for Melat Kiros (now Democratic primary winner) that Hasan was in town to speak at.

From June 14, 2026:

This really feels like a comedy routine. While wearing his favorite Mao suit that he planned on going to a rally with, Hasan has the gall to moan about having no liberal defenders when he's been using "liberal" as a derogative for years. His attempt to separate Democrat politicians from liberals here is useless because of it, as is his plead to unify against Republicans after Hasan infamously discouraged his audience from voting for Kamala Harris against Trump.

Suddenly without an indoor venue for the rally, the DSA organizers impromptu resorted to an outdoor protest instead, but Hasan ended up bailing on it to just hang out with Kiros and company at a residence afterward instead. Hasan suggested that he did so because of security concerns, but I have a strong feeling that he was actually worried about being publicly heckled like in New Jersey prior. Contrary to his conservative counterparts, I don't have the impression of Hasan ever feeling endangered enough to have private security when he travels.

Copying my post from the politics thread with all of the media included to share here.

Last night, Hasan Piker was invited to and spoke at the DC convention of the College Democrats of America, the official college arm of the DNC. This was a surprise announcement made on Friday at the beginning of the convention, likely to sneak him in ahead of any blowback that could happen from DNC higherups or other invested parties.

Here's the College Democrats' announcement post, featuring Hasan in his war correspondent cosplay.

Hasan explained how he didn't know about the College Democrats and was wary of them, but was quick to learn that they're staffed by his radical sycophants. Of course they are.

Here's the speech in full, which is surprisingly mostly generic Orange Man Bad rhetoric to hide his power level, if you ignore the glaring point that Hasan is wearing his favorite Mao suit. But at least this time he didn't lament the collapse of the Soviet Union.

"They call me a lot of names. They say I'm an idealist, a radical, a terrorist. But the one thing they don't call me is a liar," lies the habitual liar who's called a liar all the time.

But at the end, Hasan really lays it in to a standing ovation who he really regards to be his enemies: Democrats.

Actually his whole speech was seeded low-key with language indicating him and his cause to be a non-Democratic "insurgency".

Then at some point afterward, one of the people there apparently gifted him Chinese money with Mao's face on it. Hasan was proud enough to show it off on stream, making sure that the image of Mao was clearly visible.

The Democrats are truly fucked as a party if they let it slide that their college arm has apparently already been fully subverted by the DSA. And they probably will, considering how they've already been turning a blind eye thus far to the espoused commies who've been eat them from the inside under the "big tent" for the past year.

As a bonus for this thread specifically about Hasan, I noticed that his personal event cameraguy carries around what is obviously a sly representation of Luigi Mangione.

But the one thing they don't call me is a liar
This part is crazy because its obviously not something he came up on his own (just like most of shit he says) but what makes it extra crazy is that he's only started using this line recently + nazi spacez that he wants to distance himself from constantly use very similar quote (which I think is origin of Hasan stealing and repurposing it) regarding anti-Semitism
>They call you antisemite, but never a liar.
Is a famous slogan used all around more right wing spaces, that Hasan swears he never frequents.
He obviously picked up there and is now trying to repurpose it, since twitter is now /pol/ and he is chronically addicted to it all he sees is groypers.
That's the only reading he's done in years, just reading decade old /pol/ posts used by groypers on twitter he now tries to claim as his own ideas. Part of it is probably him trying to get some of the growing radical muslim presence on internet these days (more to the bucket of him being Sneako/Andrew Tate but left).

Also, every clip I've seen of him from this event, and every other one he does really, is just giving heavy Dwight Schrute vibe, he's just so uncomfortable in his own skin and constantly has to use "big" words and phrases he doesnt understand but they sound cool to him.

Like WTF is he talking about not being called a liar, he gets called a liar all the time especially since the collargate on top of all the other bullshit.

He didn’t come up with it but I don’t think it’s more or less popular in right wing spaces. The typical construction of “call me x, but can’t call me a liar” doesn’t have anything to do with antisemitism. Do you think Hasan needs to go to right wing spaces to appropriate antisemitic phrases?

Yeah, the "liar" line is more like cliche, corny speechwriting on par with the "I, no we" bit Hasan does at the end. But more importantly, it gets into what I've previously recognized to be his frequent false posturing as a truthteller, which he does even more shortly thereafter in the speech:
"It is our job to always seek truth from facts." (???)
"And the one difference I always see is moral conviction. Moral conviction to always say the truth, and an endless thirst to understand exactly what is going on."

It's my impression that this is stock rhetoric that Hasan likes to use when he's trying to not just hide his nature as a massive compulsive liar, but further pass himself off as a remarkably virtuous political actor, especially when speaking to outsiders of his streaming audience, I actually called it out explicitly in my previous post about Hasan getting into the malicious peddling of conspiracy theories he knows to be false, which I might make a follow-up post about sometime in light of his 2-hour interview with fellow CCP chaos agent "Professor" Jiang Xueqin and commentary on the preliminary hearing of Tyler Robinson that occurred since. Here's another example from the last interview Hasan had with Pod Save America back in April, when he was making excuses for saying that Hamas is a thousand times better than Israel with the massaging help of his naive(?) Democratic interviewer Jon Favreau.

It’s definitely a repurposed right-wing meme they might call you an X but never a Y like racist or antisemite for X and liar for Y. He stole his cattle line too from online right spaces where it was “ goy cattle.” He can’t come up with anything original and steals memes from 4chan he's a millionaire and can’t hire a writer to feed him some decent lines so he doesn’t sound stupid does he think nobody will notice?
