Fasting clears the mind because a) The simple evolutionary response of: You gotta go hunt your dinner come on man we're starving FOCUS and b) Hyperglycaemia is a brain-foggy bitch that will fuck you on a fundamental level and most of the developed world is pre-diabetic which makes this experience damn near universal.

But you can't sustain the fasting clarity forever. If you attempt a hard fast you'll eventually reach a level of hangry that guarantees you'll either do some hate crime or break down the wall of a Wendys looking for a fix. In short, you'll nigmaxx.
