I read that trannies try to dox users here so they can start harassing their employers. So I guess I’m wondering if there are any known cases of users actually getting fired after being doxed. Is there a precedent?

Yes: Acting retarded with shit opsec. It's stupid to post details about personal cows which only you would know, and then expect nothing to happen when they see it. Posters may not deserve it - But they sure as hell earn it by oversharing and recycling usernames, emails, etc.

People get fired as a result of being "canceled" on the internet all the time now and it is such a non-story that you have to look locally to find out why it happens in your city or state. It is an ugly reality of the modern age, but most of all it is just so pointless. When this happens people mostly just go get a different job.

I am sure some people could or have been fired.
If there is enough efforts put into it, you can destroy someone's life. Even if they own their own business.
You know how these people operate. They will not stop at contacting an employer, they will tarnish everything you touch on the simple basis that you are associated with it.
Once they narrowed it down to an identity, it only takes a couple of unhinged people with nothing else but spite and time to waste to achieve results.
They have connections with the media, and you don't. So even if you try to fight back, you'll end up losing in the court of public opinion.
No employer enjoys liability. Everyone can be replaced. Even assuming that you have empathy for an employees' views or situation, your business always comes first.
