The seventh Harry Potter book is a miserable slog for most of its run and should have been about the Department of Mysteries like what was rumored. It also fell into the same problems as the Michael Bay Transformers movies with killing off much of the extended cast for shock value or other lazy ass reasons. Goosebumps peaked with the Horrorland sub-series, and they should have either done a proper sequel or ended the entire series there. Otherwise, the first six Harry Potter books are pretty good all things considered, as are much of the Goosebumps series.

I was an Animorphs kid in the mid 90s
Animorphs is the greatest piece of literature ever written simply because they had these at the corner of the page: qmv61yn6yn4c1.gif Can Dostoevsky say the same?
