I read yesterday that the fag fans of Kiki's Delivery Service think Ursula (the artist in the woods) represents them because she's a free spirit, forgetting that she gets offended at an old man thinking she was a boy before angrily showing off how nice her legs are to said old man.
Pretty sure they also think Mizu from Blue Eye Samurai is a tranny symbol because she dresses and acts like a man, thinking she's just like them for having to hide her true self lest she be killed. However, Mizu was forced to act like a boy by her mother, can never proudly proclaim her true and honest self, worked hard for her skills and still faces struggles and setbacks, acknowledges and grows from her failures, and (most damning to the fags) is she is straight and seemed content with being a housewife as long as she was with a man she loved.
I wish they'd wait till may was over to start it like they used to, even in the supposed "rainbow capitalism is dead because they now support DRUMP!!!!" times the stores do not wait till pride month to sell pride month shit. April and may might as well not exist unsellable pride month rainbow shit lines the little designated gay sections of every store.
I saw something that I think was supposed to be a pride month section at michaels that was just basically a mix of party city's cheap single color costume shit section that you no longer can have because party city died but then also in a different section there was a gag gift of like little ledge hangers for coffee cups or something that were cowboys with their asses exposed. I almost bought them for the absurdity of that reminding me of how that sort of goofy gag gift was everywhere back when i was a kid but like it was 14 dollars so no i will not buy your gay cowboys with the exposed asses.
