On this day we celebrate the triumph of God's favorite race over his second favorite race when the United States symbolically defeated the Yellow Peril and saved the Orient from the demonic State Shinto religion.
How do you intend to celebrate this Iwo Jima Day? I plan to eat at a Japanese buffet, reenact an amphibious assault in Easy Red 2, listen to novelty songs and watch one of the Pacific Theater movies I haven't seen - regardless of if I'm having any fun or feeling it - since I created this holiday just this year and there's no community/social ritual to participate in.
