Went over and watched it with my sister, we liked it. It wasn't great, but it was decent. Not a total disaster, which is probably the best you could have hoped for.
Watched it tonight. Thought overall it was a shot movie on the level of Jerry Seinfeld’s Poptart movie. Although Sandler does add more heart to it.
Couldn’t stand looking at his daughters who he casted as his daughter in the film and as that young women who was in his AA class. Ugly yentas.
I enjoyed the reappearance of both Shooter McGavin and the Nursing Home Aide (Ben Stiller) but thought the main antagonist (Elon Musk stand in) was complete garbage.
Just saw it, it was all over the place. Felt more like a holiday for however many celebrities agreed to appear rather than a movie. John Daly and Shooter McGavin were the best parts.
I can't tell what's funnier. The fact that Julie Bowen promoted it like hell on The View, only to die a very hilarious death in the first 10-20 minutes. Or the fact that The View fucking died for a month just a while after this film's release.
Adam Sandler may have manifested The View's (temporary) death.
