Unlike a certain individual who thinks his birthday should be a national holiday for straight couples himself, I believe March 20th should be Mr. Rogers Day in remembrance of one of the greatest people who ever lived. If you have any doubts, take a gander at these articles:

I find Mr. Rodgers to be pretty creepy, always gave me the feeling he was a pedophile.

Also his show is really lame. It's understandable to like as a kid, but to watch as a grown ass adult seem really autistic.

He wasn't. Just try comparing him to Jimmy Savile, a British children's entertainer from the same era who was a massive pedo, who the BBC protected all the way until he died. Hell, just look at the way they look:

Of some recent interest, someone posted this recording of WQED's 2004(?) re-broadcast of an episode of "Children's Corner", the show Fred Rogers landed a gig on back in the 50's, hosted by Josey Carey (who is given a nice tribute at the start). You can see the early incarnations of Daniel Tiger and the rest here.
