I said it in another thread but I'll say it here -- the new GoW game is what modern Halo should've been: more of the same old, no bullshit mechanics like sprint or clamber (the equipment in Infinite is a good idea), no nonsensical 'smart-link', just a more expanded version of Halo 3.

I was so into halo as a kid, played the games, read all the books, went to LAN parties with 4 Xboxes, the launch events, had all the RvB dvds and even tried to make a pepakura helmet as a teen. I can not put into words how little I care about halo now, I cant even be angry any more because all feeling for this franchise that was so integral to my youth is just completely and totally gone.
I'm no longer disappointed and sad about halo, I am numb to halo
