Not to derail the conversation at hand, nor the one from the last few pages, but what even is Half Life considered these days beyond "FPS"? It's not a "Boomer Shooter" right? And "Immersive Sim" apparently isn't right either.

Well I mean, here's the user Steam tags for HL1 and HL2.

Yeah I don't think it's a boomershooter, those are more for Doomlikes or Quakelikes. Nor is it an immersive sim, tbh the first thing that comes to mind for those types of games is Deus Ex. I suppose 'narrative driven FPS' would be most fitting?

There's no way this is unintentional. I can't think of any situation where a ship would need to maneuver like that (especially the full 180 on the spot), AND it's perfectly rotated to make the lambda show upright. At the very least Gaben is aware and fucking with us.
