I'm a cashier, and our systems were offline for online cash transfers....all day. We get a lot of people who pay debt or do EBT. So we had a lot of angry people today, having spent an hour or so filling a cart only to get to the cashier and find out they can't pay for it.. lol

Although it's not the same way as you I understand giving appliances names and personalities. Right now I am typing on Tabi-chan (sometimes called Socks, Tabi was just short for tablet but tabi also are traditional Japanese socks), sister of Sammy-chan (guess we both have a thing for Korean electronic devices lol).

I just hate waste, so many people throw things out without thinking. As if their trash is just going to vanish, when in reality it's piling up somewhere.

Do you work grocery? I've never, but my friend did and he says grocery customers are the most aggressive. I haven't spoke to him in a long time but he had a lot of cashier jobs and he said grocery was the only time he was assaulted... by a woman in her 70's throwing a bag at him. Hope you can relax now.

Speaking of relaxing. What do you do to wind down? A drive (snark)? Enjoy a cold beer?

Second also, I saw the Pinkie saga but would you mind sending me links to the other cars stories? Particularly "I took a man to a graveyard". I'd say p.m it but maybe other people on mobiles would benefit if you posted the links.

I actually very much like the style. I loved Brave Little Toaster as a kid, and the non-porn work gets me nostalgic.

This also might sound retarded but the two pics of the reproductive... engines (?) were also interesting. They also weren't outright pornographic. I felt for a second that I was on an alien world in middle school sex ed.

I'd rather not see a car with big boobs, but no denying the guy has some talent. @Half-dude sorry, with the mobile and all... have you ever mimicked any other style? (Ie no cars) If not I'd love to see an attempt!

I remember seeing those Bobby Lee pictures before. And honestly, aside from the coloring and some of the hands, the art itself isn't that terrible.

Maybe if you got rid of the whole "Car penis/vagina/inflation" thing and focused more on expanding the universe of these characters, them maybe people wouldn't have much of a negative opinion about you. I dunno, just my personal view on the matter.

That said, why do you think cars need things like a penis? and what is with the inflation stuff anyway? For that matter, how can they be so balloon-y when they should be nothing but a bunch of broken plastic and twisted metal?
 
I don't know if it's just me but iridescent paints/coatings really accent curvy bodies well...
 
(@Half-dude) How do you feel about the depiction of objectum sexuality in the media? I've only ever seen people with philias like yours on TLC, which made it seem more like seeing circus freaks than actual people.
 
Why do you talk to your car like she is a child or a kitty cat or something? To me it feels like you are talking down to her a bit, even though you consider her an equal. Is this because of the language barrier you mentioned before?

@glutenfreebooty a few pages back he addressed that and said that he despised the vast majority of media depictions he has seen. :)
 
Why are you called "half-dude"?

Also, your art is pretty decent. Couple of gripes though. First, your shading is kind of strangely softened, even when you're drawing slicker, shiny materials like the cars. It makes everything look kind of dim, like nothing has light directly on it.

And you need some work on your non-car anatomy. Your people are proportioned fine, but their limbs look undefined or... sausage-y, sometimes.

Finally, you tend to draw eyes as if they're headlights, and they stick out of the sockets: the exact opposite is true, they sink into sockets, and it is pretty terrifying when eyes float in front of people's faces like that.
 
I think your art is very good man. You are also well spoken and knowledgeable.

I am a huge Formula 1 fan. I saw your post with racing themes. You a big auto racing fan?

What about car movies? Have you seen Bullitt, Two Lane Blacktop, The Car, Death Race 2000, Vanishing Point (1971), Grand Prix, Dirty Larry, Crazy Mary?

PS @Cowlick could take lessons from this gent. Just imagine, if he would have posted his initial message the way @Half-dude did, his thread wouldn't be 350 plus pages and might have been locked! Is he still like a broken record BTW?

And before you ask: Yes, I was the one who posted your deviantart to cringe channel. But just so you understand, I don't actually wish any harm on you, nor do I think the other people there do either. I just find your artwork amusing. C'mon though, surely you understand why people find drawings of cars with fold-out penises and "anal vore" of the rear bulkhead of a plane....unusual....right?

@Half-dude I've seen your stuff on FA a while back and found it pretty weird, if silly ("Car penis, deploy!"). I do like your style (well, if the non-porn stuff anyway) and think it's neat that you give minor characters some extended backstory, like the old cars from TBLT.

Given how trains are huge with autistic people, have you met or know an train OS person?

How do SWC mods even know if you a "true" OS/Mechaphile? This reminds me of Ebon Lupus and his forum for wolf-kin and the higher-level members were all itchy to ban you if you didn't "feel" like a wolf to them or some shit. This was years ago, before other-kin shit became popular on Tumblr.
