These results are just sad and clearly it is because Vienna was not plastered in Gunther´s selfie-style election posters.

A qualified guess that applies to a LOT of ex-Yugoslavs; They got the fuck out of there in 92 n probably got citizenship for humanitarian reasons, or because her parents naturalized, it is pretty common to see Serbs, Bosnians, Croats, etc,in their 30s-40s, fully integrated into their host countries around Europe, I imagine it was in part because they might have been ruled to have been stateless, which technically could apply if they left as Yugoslavian citizens before the proto-states of Bosnia, etc, formed into de-facto recognized states, that whole situation could have caused her to be given a citizenship.
Honestly that paticular refugee wave integrated so well across Europa I was mind blown when a friend of mine revealed he was actually a "Serb" and not a Scandinavian tribal, if you will pardon my clannishness.

I can understand. I am a Yugoslav myself and we bounced in 92. I like my Slavs but can't understand their ways half the time.

If not, here is a bit of an open suggestion for those with EU Citizenship, time, and too much money; If you reside in any EU country you can vote in local elections.
I cannot quite figure out if Austria is having local/regional or state level elections but...there may be an opportunity here
